CDX is a multi-part adventure game from the BBC. You play Adam Foster, a character who supplies a Roman dagger to a BBC TV production of Ancient Rome: The Rise and Fall of an Empire.
You awaken in a room in Tunis, stranded in a wheelchair.. Apparently there was a motorbike accident that landed you in the hospital, and caused you to lose your memory.
Helpfully, the room contains clues to your life - a computer with emails and videos, a telephone, and answering machine, letters.
You learn of a sacrificial blade forged at the birth of the Roman empire which holds the key to an ancient and bloody conspiracy that threatens to erupt into the present day. But who has the blade, and can the killers be stopped?
